Chifeng Hanshan white cashmere goats are a local specialty resource. In recent years, from breeding sheep research to cashmere products, every link has been given scientific and technological support, turning cashmere, the "soft gold", into real gold.Cheng Xiaohu introduced that his group has established a professional cashmere goat breeding cooperative, which provides technical training to more than 2,000 farmers and herdsmen every year and holds a sheep breeding competition; it has provided quality and price subsidies to farmers and herdsmen for eight consecutive years, with the amount reaching tens of millions of yuan; relying on high-quality germplasm resources, it cultivates new ultra-fine strains, promotes technologies such as artificial insemination and embryo transplantation, and promotes two-year tertiary industry breeding technology.
"At the same time, the Chifeng Dongrong Hanshan Cashmere Goat Breeding Research Institute and the Chifeng Hanshan White Cashmere Goat Breeding Farm were established to form an interest linkage mechanism of 'company + base + farmers and herdsmen', which effectively promoted the Hanshan Cashmere Goat breeding, breeding, seed conservation and nutrition capabilities to a great extent.Cheng Xiaohu said that farmers and herdsmen generally reported that the cashmere grows faster and has better quality after the improvement, and one kilogram of cashmere can be sold for 60 to 70 yuan more than before. "The cashmere industry has become a 'warm industry' that drives farmers and herdsmen to increase their income and become rich."
Today, Cheng Xiaohu's company independently developed an automatic air-suction cashmere combined combing production line, becoming the only company in northern China to apply cashmere napping technology; it built a double-sided precision positioning printing factory with an annual output of 200,000 pieces (pieces), becoming the world's first company to apply double-sided digital printing technology for cashmere; it maximized the characteristics of Inner Mongolia cashmere's "fine and long white", and the products developed were soft to the touch and plump velvet, and were favored by consumers all over the world.In March 2024, the national geographical indication trademark "Dongli Cashmere" made a stunning appearance on the stage of Shanghai Fashion Week. While showcasing the softness, comfort and fashionable charm of cashmere products, it made the reputation of "Made in Inner Mongolia" famous and won unanimous praise from the audience.
"In the future, we will not only expand to Shanghai, but also to Paris and Milan, and use 'One Cashmere' to create a Chinese weaving brand with greater international influence." Cheng Xiaohu is full of confidence in this.
At present, Chifeng Cashmere Textile Industrial Park has built Dongrong University, and carried out joint education with Tianjin University of Technology, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, and Inner Mongolia Industrial Vocational and Technical College, built the "Tianjin University of Technology Internship Practice Base", and introduced 19 high-level textile professionals including doctors and masters; trained 632 talents in various trades such as flat knitting machine operators and spinning workers, and 128 people obtained senior worker and senior technician grade certificates. Through the implementation of the "Talent Team Plan", "Textile Talent Plan" and "Textile Craftsman Plan", more and more talents are introduced.
At the same time, the local area also invested 12 million yuan to establish a wool textile central laboratory, a technology research and development innovation center, and an innovation practice factory. The research and development team was led by textile professional doctors and industry experts. It has obtained 25 national patents and 1 national science and technology innovation award, and participated in the formulation of 9 international group and national standards at all levels.
During the two sessions, Cheng Xiaohu suggested that in accordance with the requirements of the "Opinions of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Revitalizing the Development of Cashmere Industry", the cashmere price should be stabilized, the cashmere industry structure adjustment and optimization and upgrading should be promoted, and the leading advantage of the cashmere industry in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the country should be maintained; with the standardized breeding base as the center, the Hanshan White Cashmere Goat breeding trial demonstration model should be promoted in surrounding counties and banners; the capacity building of leading enterprises should be strengthened, the industrial agglomeration degree should be improved, the cashmere brand promotion action should be implemented in depth, and a distinctive "cashmere business card" should be built.
